Nursery
Welcome to the Nursery page
Nursery is the first step in education for most children for children aged 3-4yrs. This is a time when children begin to learn to mix with their peers and learn basic Numeracy and Literacy skills in a creative, hands-on environment.
The work that children undertake at nursery level comes from Development Matters which prepares the children for the EYFS which they will join when they enter Reception followed by the National Curiculum which they will work with when they enter Key Stage 1. The Nursery at preston Park has 60 part time children, 30 children attend in the morning and 30 children attend in the afternoon.

8.30 - 9.00 Breakfast club
9.00 - 11.30 Lesson time
11.30 - Morning nursery class finsihed
12.45 - 13.15 Afternoon nursery class lesson time
15.15 - 15.45 After school club in the Early Years centre
