At Preston Park we take our safeguarding responsibility incredibly seriously and operate within a culture of vigilance that is proactive. We work with many different partners to respond to local intelligence to keep our children safe.

If you have any concerns relating to a child then please come into school a speak to a member of our team.
Our partnership with the police
We work very closely with the police. PC Rose Shepherd, our Safer Schools Officer.
PC Shepherd regularly visits Preston Park and works with our children covering all topics from personal safety and e-safety to educating children on the dangers of knife crime and gang violence. We also work with the police in regards to keeping our children safe and will share intelligence with them.
Our partnership with social services
Brent Family Front Door is our local social services.
Social Services have a statutory obligation to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children. Brent Family Front Door offers a wide range of care services and support to assist our families in ensuring our children are healthy, safe, and well looked after.
Our partnership with our Educational Welfare Officer
Our Educational Welfare Officer [EWO] is dedicated to supported our attendance team.
We work with our families to overcome barriers to attendance to ensure that all children are in school, on time, ready to make the most of their education.
