A day in a life of Miss Devji
Dear Year 6,
I hope you and your families are well during this time. These past six weeks have been challenging as I have had to adapt to working from home, just like all of you. However, the sun has been shining and I’ve made myself quite comfortable in my make-shift garden office – it is from this special place that I work productively. Sometimes, working from home can be very difficult – the distractions are endless! I have found that establishing a routine lends itself well to being productive.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family. Last week, I baked my first ever cake for my younger brother’s birthday – it was delicious if I do say so myself! It had a vanilla sponge with butter-cream frosting – utterly scrumptious!
Finally, I am thrilled to inform you that I’ve made a new friend! Several weeks ago, as I worked tirelessly in the garden, tapping away at my keyboard and making calls, a cat leapt onto the table. At first, I was alarmed and shooed her away. However, overtime, I have found myself looking forward to her daily visits. She’s very playful and enjoys rolling around on the lawn.
Keep being productive and above all, stay safe.
